HOLY FAITH

Jude 20:  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy
     faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.

1. BUILDING UP YOURSELVES ON YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH.

         A. FOUNDATION IS IMPORTANT TO A BUILDING

2. WHAT THEN IS THIS MOST HOLY FAITH WE ARE TO BUILD ON?
   A. APOSTLE PAUL SPOKE ABOUT FOUNDATIONS THIS WAY

Ephesians 2:19-20 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and
foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of
God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone];

3. WHAT IS THIS MOST HOLY FAITH THEN?
   A. IT IS A FOUNDATION
      1. Built by the apostles and prophets on rock Jesus
      2. Given to us by the Apostles and Prophets

4. WHAT WAS IT THAT WAS GIVEN TO US?
   A. IT IS A HOLY FAITH-A HOLY BELIEF
   B. IT IS A MOST HOLY FAITH-A MOST HOLY BELIEF

5. HOLY FAITH
   A. JESUS IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.
   B. JESUS WAS BORN OF A VIRGIN
   C. JESUS WAS SLAIN FOR YOUR SINS AND MINE ON AN OLD RUGGES CROSS
   D. JESUS WAS DEAD AND WAS BURIED
   E. JESUS ON THE THIRD DAY ROSE WITH POWER AND GLORY.
   F. JESUS ASCENDED UNTO OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN
   G. JESUS IN COMING AGAIN FOR YOU AND FOR ME AS HE PROMISED HE WOULD.
   H. JESUS WILL SAVE ALL WHO CALL UPON HIS NAME
   I. THE BIBLE IS TRUE AND THAT EVERY WORD  SHALL COME TO PASS

6. THIS BELIEF OR MOST HOLY FAITH THEN IS THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

7. WHEN DOES THIS BELIEF BECOME YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH?
   A.  IT BECOMES YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH WHEN YOU ACCEPT HIM AS SAVIOUR
       AND LORD.

5. MEN THIS THEN IS WHAT WE ARE TO BUILD OUR LIVES AND OUR FAMILY LIVES
   UPON.  THERE IS NO OTHER FOUNDATION UPON WHICH TO BUILD.

1 Corinthians 3:10-11  According to the grace of God which is given
unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and
another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth
Thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which
is Jesus Christ.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and
doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house
upon a rock:  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the
winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was
founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built
his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came,
and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great
was the fall of it.
