The Morgan Society was formed on Friday 29 April 1994 at a Special Inaugural Meeting in the Morgan Room at Tredegar House, Newport, Gwent, Wales

1995 - Tredegar House, Newport - Hilton Hotel, Newport, Wales

1996 - Tredegar House, Newport - Hilton Hotel, Newport, Wales

1997 - National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth, Wales

1998 - Black country Museum, Dudley, Worcs, England

1999 - Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris, Anglesey, Wales

2000 - Marriott Hotel, Marine Parade, Swansea, Wales

The new millennium was welcomed by a special Morgan Muster inviting Morgans from near and far. Our guest of honour was First Minister of Wales, Rhodri Morgan. Geoff and Lena Morgan, Morgan Society (Australia) shared information about the Australian Morgan Society. A Morgan Car from the Malvern Factory was on hand for rides to the Mumbles during the day! The Glamorgan FHS and Welsh Tourist Board had exhibits and Rhodri Morgan, First Secretary of Welsh National Assembly gave a delightful after dinner speech

2003 Sessions House (Old Courtroom) Usk, Monmouthshire, Wales

"DNA as a feature of Family History - an explanatory discussion lead by Dr. Brinley Morgan, featuring mito-chondrial DNA, the Y-chomosome, Viking ancestry and the Morgan Map of the UK"

2004 - Museum of Welsh Life, St. Fagan's, Cardiff, Wales

Roger Morgan gave a most informative talk on the development of the National Health Service, from Roman Days to 2004 and from spiders webs to leeches (the latter you must purchase and feed yourself)

2005 - Baskerville Arms Hotel, Clyro, near Hay-on-Wye, Breconshire, Wales

2006 - Speech House, Coleford, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England

Built in 1676 and originally Charles II's hunting lodge in the Royal Forest of Dean, the Speech House linked the traditional Morgan counties of Glamorgan and Monmouthshire with Gloucestershire, where many Morgans have resided over the centuries

2007 - Colwall Park Hotel, Malvern, England

2008 - Caer Beris Manor, Builth Wells, Wales
