BLAIR FAMILY TREE

The Blair connection to the Lawson family is a very interesting one. My grandmother's Aunt Laura Lawson married Gist Blair. They were the last of the Blair family to own and inhabit Blair House on Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington DC, a house with a long and colorful history. This page will outline the Blair Family Tree. I had a lot of help on this one from Candice, curator of Blair House, and Laura Lawson Blair Marvel, adopted daughter of Gist and Laura Lawson Blair. Although I am not related to the Blairs by blood I have been interested in this family line since I was a little girl listening to the stories my grandmother would tell.
Some really good news. Laura Lawson Blair Marvel has written a wonderful book. The title is "A Child in Blair House". I ordered it from Amazon.
