DUER FAMILY TREE

I was really stumped on this line. Without knowing that Margaret Duer's maiden name was Kilgour or that her husband was Robert D. Duer I would have never found them. Then just a few days ago I received an email from another genealogist "Libba" who had the answers I needed, lovingly saved in an old document she and her family treasured enough to preserve. We throw away so many "things" these days in our "cast it off" society. Sometimes it's hard to know what to keep. Like most genelogists, I have a tendancy to keep everything. Most of the time I regard this as a curse, but every once in a while one of these little scraps of paper becomes a cornerstone for me or someone else. So Libba, I applaud you and your family and thank you for being a saver.
