To reach from Genesee,
go east on Genesee-Juliaetta road .9 mile, then turn right onto Gray Eagle
road. Go 7 miles, staying on Gray Eagle
road until it forks and turns into Herman Road and the Tombstone Ranch.
One uses the Tombstone Ranch entry road to reach the cemetery.
Maggie Williams is a small family cemetery on the Clifford and Pauline
Hermann Ranch. Some say the edge of the cemetery extends just over the Latah
County line, in Nez Perce County. The map I use shows it clearly in Nez Perce County.
Maggie Williams was Nez Perce married to Martin Williams. I am curious
about the McWilliams entry, but found no information on it. I compared
my readings with others done before me and found not additional names.
I was able to find this cemetery thanks to the help and guided tour
by Andy Anderson of Genesee.
