Old Oroville Cemetery lies three and one half mile south of Oroville
on West Side, or Old Hwy 97. It is part of the Okanogan Cemetery District
#4. This old cemetery is not cared for, so one will find the headstones
hidden behind tall sage brush and other plants native to an arid area,
especially the jumping cactus.
Included are listings found in Okanogan County Cemetery Records, pub.
1991 by OCGS, Omak WA. An asterisk * is placed at the end of each entry
from these records, which means a headstone no longer exists.
I walked this cemetery on July 03, 2000.
