In the name of God amen I Peter Denne of the parish of Deale in the countie of Kent doo ordaine and make this my last will and testament the xiith of November in manner and forme following:
ffirst I bequeath my soule to almightie god my maker and my body to bee buried in the church of Deale;

ffirst I bequeath to Robert Denne my brother my howse and all my lands in Kingstiles and all my lands in the to Dedames[?] to him and to his heires

The residue of all my landes I will to my too brethren John Denn and James Denn, and to their heires equally to be devided paying such legacies as I shall hereafter bequeath that is to saie,
xth to my sister Jone the wife of John Rand
And xth to my sister Gilan the wife of Andrew Rand
and xth to my sister Marye the wife of Isaacke Horne
and to my sister Cristin xth,

And further I bequeath to Elizabeth Horne my kinswoman vth,
and to Robert Denn my brother xxith,
and xth wch my brother James Doth owe mee and I bequeath to him more all my timber;

And further my will and meaning is, that John Denn and James Denn my brothers shalbe my executors to paie all my debts and legacies wich I have given;

And further my will & meaning is that if John Denn and James Denn doo not pay all my debts and legacies wthin six months after my decease then my will and meaning is that Robert my brother or his Assignes shall enter upon all my lande in Chamberlend field and sell the same to paie all my debts and legacies, and I doo make John Rand my overseer to this my last will and testamt;

Bachelor Peter Denne was baptised at St. Leonards, the parish church of Deal, on 26 December 1589 and buried there on 15 November 1609. He was the son of yeoman Peter Denne who was buried at St. Leonards, Deal, on 28 August 1606.
