Item I give and bequeath to my four daughters Elizabeth, Sara, Mary and Martha and to any of them at their several ages of one and twenty years or days of marriages which shall first happen the sums of forty pounds apiece if my said moveable goods will extend thereto but if that they will not extend to the sum of forty pounds apiece my will is that they and any of them shall have abatements of their ? equally and if ? ? ? then equally divided between my said daughters. And if it happen either of them to die before their said several ages of one and twenty years or days of marriage that then their portions equally to be divided between the surviving sisters.
Item I give to my eldest son John Den the sum of twenty shillings to be paid unto him within three months after my decease out of my said moveable goods.
And as touching the disposement of my lands within the said parish of Deal, item I will that the said shall be sold by my Executors within one year and a half after my decease to the best advantage and the monies thereof coming to be employed by them to the best uses it may till my sons James and Henry shall attain to their several ages of one and twenty years and then the said monies to be equally divided between them by my Executors.
Item I ordain and constitute by my well beloved
brothers James Den of Fowlemeade in the said County of Kent and Henry Feach(?) of Dover Castle in
