In the name of God Amen the xiijth [13th] day of Aprill in the xiijth yeare of the Raigne of our Sovaraigne Lord James by the grace of God of England France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and of Scotland the eight and fifteeth, Anno dom. 1624
I Thomas Nash of the parish of Woodnesborough in the County of Kent Yeoman being sicke in body but of good and p[er]fect remembrance (thank be to Allmightie God) doe ordayne and make this my present testament and last Will in maner and forme followinge
First I bequeath my soule to Allmighty God hoping through the merits of his alone sonne Jesus Christ my only Lord ad Savyour to obtayne full remission of all my sinnes and to be p[ar]taker of his eternall kingdome and my bodye to be buryed in the Churchyard of (the) parish of Woodnesborough

Item I give and bequeathe to Annis my daughter one pewter platter, one pewter dish, one sawcer, one payer [pair] of sheets, three table napkins, one table Cloath, one stupnet, one brasse kettle, one Chest, one brasse candlestick and one pewter Candlestick and one brasse warminge pann, and one brasse Ladle

Item I give and bequeathe to Susan my daughter one pewter platter, one pewter dish, one sawcer, one payer of sheets, one table Cloath, three table napkins, one pot stupnet, one brasse kettle, one Chest, one brasse candle(stick) and one pewter Candlestick and one brazen ladle

Item my will and mynd is that Alice my wife shall have the occupacon use and p[ro]fit of my house where I now dwell with the barne Orchard and eight acres of land thereunto belongign be it more or less untill such tyme as John Nash my sonne shall come to be of the age of one and twenty yeares

Item I give and bequeath and my mynd is, that my two sonnes John and Richard shall have the house wherein I now dwell with the barne Orchard and eight acres of land be there more or lesse to them and to the heires of their bodyes lawfully befotten for ever
Item my will and mynd is that my now dwelling house barne and eight acres of land abovesayd be it more or lesse shalbe equally (divided) betweene my sayd sonnes John and Richard

All the rest and residue of my goods, corne and househould stuffe unbequeathed I give unto Alice my wife whome I nominate and appoynt to be sole Executor of this my last will and testament
whereunto I have sett my hand and seale in the presence of us
