In the name of god amen THE 19th Day of May in the 8th year of the raigne of Our Soveraigne Lord William the third by the Grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defender of the Faithe Anno Dm 1696.
I Sarah Nayers als Ayers of the Parish of St. Mary Magdalen in the City of Canterbury, widdow being weake in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory (God be praised) doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in the manner and forme following that is to say
First I recommend my soule into the Hands of the Almighty God my gratious and mercifull Creator hopeing that I shall obtaine everlasting life thro the precious and meritorious Death of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and my body to the Earth to be decently buryed by my executrix hereinafter named.

ITEM I make and ordaine my Loving Daughter Amie Nayers als Ayres sole executrix of this my Last Will and Testament.

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my loving daughter Sarah Inge my Diamond Ring and my mind and will is that my said executrix shall spedily after my decease redeem the Said Ring from my son-in-law William Nayers als Ayres to ....... if it now pawned for Twenty shillings.

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Sarah Inge one pair of Holland sheets now in the keeping of her said mother Sarah Inge and also a small pair of case of drawers to be delivered unto my said Grand Daughter Sarah Inge within one month next after my decease by my said Executrix

ITEM After my debts Legacies funerall expenses and Probate of this my Will are paid I give and bequeath all the rest of my goods, chattells and householde stuffe unto my said daughter and executrix Amie for her owne propper use

ITEM I make and appoint my loving Sisters Ann Spenser the wife of William Spenser and Alise Butler widow trustees and Overseers of this my Last Will and Testament Desireing them to see the execution thereof on the behalfe of my said Executrix untill she shall attaine her full age

IN WITTNESS whereof I the said Sarah Nayers als Ayres have to this my last Will and Testament containeing two sheets of paper sett my hand and seale the day and year first above written. Sarah Nayers als Ayres her Marke. Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the Testator Sarah Nayers als Ayres as her Last Will and Testament in the presence of us
