IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Thomas Nayer of the City of Canterbury, Goldsmith being sick and weak in Body but of sound and perfect mind and memory and understanding praised be God for the same do make and ordain this my present Last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say:
first I recommend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping to be saved only by the only Merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer and my body I committ to the Earth to be decently interred according to the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named.

ITEM I give and devise unto ELIZABETH my dear and loving wife all that my messuage or tenement with the appurtences situate and being in the Parish of St. Andrews in the said City wherein I now dwell and also all and every the several shares, parts and purparts which I am now possessed of or have any Right or Title unto of and many Messuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments situate, lying and being in the City of Canterbury afore said and in the County of Kent or ������ and to hold the said messuage or tenement and premisses and also the said several parts, shares and purparts of the said messuages, lands, tenements and hereditaments with the appurtences unto my said loving wife and her devised assigns forever.

ITEM Whereas upon marriage my Two Sisters SARAH now the wife of JOHN KELLEY of Sandwich and MARY now the wife of DANIEL KELLEY of H���rudin it was severally agreed by their marriage writings that in case they should dye without issue then parts of their fortunes should descend and to me unto me and my Brothers. I do now hereby give and devise and bequeath unto my said loving wife all such parts, or parts of Land, Messuages, Lands, Tenements and all such sum and sums of money as shall or may at any time thereafter come unto me or which I should be entitled by virtue of the said Agreements and by the of my said Two Sisters or either of them to hold the same unto my said wife and her heirs, executors and assigns forever.

ITEM I give and bequeath unto my Brothers WILLIAM and HUMPHREY NAYER and to my said Brother John Kelley and Sarah his wife and also to my Brother Daniel Kelley and Mary his wife and also to my Mother Elizabeth Cuckow and to my Brothers Daniel and William Cuckow and to each and every of them one RING of twenty shillings value.

ITEM All the rest of my goods, chattels and personal estate whatsoever after my debts and funeral expenses are paid and satisfied I give and Bequeath unto my said loving wife whom I do hereby make constitute and appoint full and sole executrix of this my last will and testament.
