In the name of God Amen the sixtenth day of January in the yeare of our lord God one thousand five hundred and ninety nine [1599/1600]
I Alice Neame widowe of the p[ar]ishe of Goodneston (next Wingham) beinge sicke of bodye and of good Remembrannce (praised be God) do ordayne and make this my last will & testamente in manner & forme followinge
First I bequeth my soule unto Allmightye God and my bodye to be buried in the church yarde of Woodnesborowe [Woodnesborough]

Item I will unto the poore peopell of Woodnesborowe three shillings & fower pence to be paid within sixe dayes after my decease
Item I will unto the poore peopell of Goodneston three shillings & fower pence to be paid within sixe dayes after my decease

Item I will unto Lawrence Neame my sonne fower pounde of Currante money to be paid within fowerteene weekes after my decease,
Item I will unto Agnes Neame widowe twenty shillings within one quarter next after my decease
Item I will unto John Hilles of Woodnesborowe three shillings & fower pence to be paid unto him at my buriall
Item I will unto Thomas Baxes wife of Staple [next Wingham] sixe shillings to be paid within one quarter next after my decease
Item I will unto John Nemes wife of Staple sixe shillings to be paid unto her within one quarter next after my decease
Item I will unto Goddens wife of Staple sixe shillings to be paid unto her within one quarter next after my decease
Item I will unto the repayringe of the church of Woodnesborowe three shillings fower pence to be paid by my executor within one quarter next after my decease

The residue of my goods unbequethed my legacies paid I will unto Richard Neme my sonne Whome I make my whole executor of this my last will

Alice Neame the widdow of Henry Neame who dyed at Goodnestone was buried here the xxjth day of March 1605(/6), Woodnesborough PR.
Henry Neame was buried at Woodnesborough on 4 Mar 1570/71.
See Henry Neame's Will: PRC17/41/119a, which was made in 1561.
