And I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my son RICHARD NEAME to be full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
Also I will and give unto my loving wife MARY all the bedding and furniture as it
now stands in the chamber over the parlour of my now dwelling house and the other
householdstuffe in the same Room and all my Linnen to be at her own disposal
Also I will and give unto my said son RICHARD NEAME my silver Beer Bowle marked R.N.
Also I will and bequeath unto my kinswoman ELIZABETH GOLDFINCH the sume of fifteen pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid unto her by my Executor within six months next after my decease.
Also I give and bequeath unto my grandaughter JANE NEAME daughter of my late son JOHN NEAME deceased the sume of twenty pounds of like lawfull money of England to be paid att her age of eighteen years or Day of Marriage which shall first happen by my said Executor.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter MARY the now wife of WILLIAM MAY
the sume of fifty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid her by my Executor
within two years next after my decease.
But if my said daughter MARY shall not be living att the time when her said legacy shall be payable then I do give and bequeath
the said sume of fifty pounds unto WILLLAM and MARY MAY children of my said
daughter MARY to be equally divided between them to be paid to them within two
years next after my decease.
And in case my said daughter MARY and her two children shall all be dead att the time when the said legacy shall become payable then
I bequeath the said fifty pounds to such other children of my said daughter MARY as
shall be living equally to be divided between them.
And if the said W1LLIAM or MARY the said children of my said daughter MARY shall Dye after their mother and
before the said legacy shall become payable then my will is that the survivor of them shall have the share of him or her so dying.
Also I give unto my grandson RICHARD MAY one other of the children of my said
daughter MARY the sume of twenty pounds of like money to be paid to him by my
said Executor when he the said RICHARD MAY shall attain the age of one and
twenty years.
And in case he my said grandson RICHARD MAY shall dye before he
attain the said age of one and twenty years then I give and bequeath the said sume of
twenty pounds unto such of his brothers and sisters as shall be then living equally to be divided between them.
Also I will and bequeath unto my daughter SUSAN NEAME the sume of two
hundred pounds of like lawfull money of England to be paid unto her by my Executor
within six months next after my decease.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Susan three of my largest and best cows
such as she shall make choice of to be delivered unto her by my said Executor within
six months next after my decease.
All which said legacies I will and appoint to be paid by my said son RICHARD NEAME and to the payment of which accordingly I do hereby subject and make liable the Messuage Lands and Premisses hereinafter in my Will given unto him.
Also I give and bequeath unto my said loving wife MARY the yearly sume of sixteen pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid unto her and her assigns for and during the Term of her Natural Life by quarterly payments (that is to say) the Feast days of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin the Nativity of St.John the Baptist St. Michael the Archangel and the Birth of our Lord Christ by even and equall porcons quarterly to be paid by my said son RICHARD NEAME and his heirs out of the yard, barns and lands hereinafter in this my Will given unto him my said son RICHARD NEAME to hold and enjoy the same untill full payment be made hereof together with all such charges as she shall do put unto him from time to time fIrst obtaining the same which I hope my son RICHARD he and by due paying her according to the intent of this my Will.
And as touching and concerning the disposing of all and singular my messuages barne stables yards and lands situate lying and being in the parish of Woodnesborough als Winsborough aforesaid in the said County of Kent or elsewhere with their every of their appurtenances I will and devise the same and every part and parcell thereof unto my said son RICHARD NEAME his heirs and assigns forever.
He my said son RICHARD NEAME quickly and peaceally permiting and suffering my said wife MARY to have hold and occupy enjoy and possess during the Term of her Natural Life the messuage wherein I now dwell with ye kitchin behind the barn and yard Likewise and the said messuage the two orchards belonging to the same the pasture Close called The Elm Close and a piece ofarrable land adjoining to the said orchards containing about two acres and a half.
And also well and truly paying the said sume of two hundred pounds unto my said daughter SUSAN NEAME and the sume of fifty pounds unto my said daughter MARY and her children as aforesaid. And the sixteen pounds yearly unto the said MARY my wife during her Life as aforesaid. And all other the legacies beforein this my will menconed to be given to the several Legatees before in this my Will named as aforesaid according to the effect and true intent and meaning of this my Will
Also all and singular my goods cattle chattels stock cropp and personal Estate whatsoever not herein before particularly bequeathed I will and give unto the said RlCHARD NEAME my said son and Executor the better to enable him to pay my Debts Legacies Funeral Charges and Probate of this my Will.
And I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other wills by me made.
In Witness whereon the said RICHARD NEAME the Elder to this my last Will and
Testament in four sheets of paper contained to the first second and third sheets thereof
my hand have set and the fourth and last sheet thereof my Hand and Seale have set
and putt this eighteenth Day of September in the 12th year of the reign of King
William the 3rd over England Anno Dmi 1700. RICH.NEAME the Elder
