This is the laste Testam[en]t nuncupatyve [nuncupative] of Richard Newnham late of the p[ar]ishe of Ashe in the countie of Kent deceased by him made and declared the three and twentith daye of January A[nn]o d[om]ini inxta cursn Ealie Anglieane 1596 Being of good and pfet [perfect] memorye in these woords following or the like in effect, vizt.

First he willed and bequeathed to Thomas and Dorothie Dixon the Children of Will[ia]m Dixon w[hi]ch he the saide Willm had by Susanne his daughter late deceased To either of them an Ewe and a Lambe

Item hee gave and willed to Stephen and Sarah Newnham the Children of Stephen Newnham his sonne to either of them an Ewe and a Lambe to be delivered the Springe tyme next after his decease

Item he willed to Joane the nowe Wife of George Baldock his daughter halfe a seame of Wheat and halfe a seame of Barley to be delivered at the feast of Alsaints next after his deathe or wthin three weekes next after the same feast

Item he willed to Thomas Cooper his sisters sonne one jerkyn and a doublet
Item he willed yt [that] his sonne Stephane Newnham should repaye to Paule Brokers children twenty shillings wch was left in his hands of trust

All the Reasydue [Residue] of his good and Cattells whatsoever he willed and bequeathed To Stephane Newnham his sonne whome he did name to be his Executor

Witnesses pr[e]sent at the Writing & declaring of the promisses by the Testator above named
Stephane Pennye and George Gamsford of Ashe
