William Nicholson, yeoman of Wouldham, Kent, will dated 7th May 1512, Proved: 6th June ....

To be buried beside my children.
Item: to the high alter 3 shillings and 4 pence.
Item: to the high alter of St Mary�s at Rochester 3 shillings and 4 pence.
Item: to the high alter of St John in Rochester, half a seam of barley.
Item: to the high alter of Our Lady, half a seam of barley.
Item: to the high alter of the church, half a seam of barley.
Item: to the high alter of All Hallows, half a seam of barley.
Item: to each of my godchildren one bushel of wheat.
Item: for the repair of the church of Wouldham a quarter of a seam of barley.

Item: to John Rose a quarter of barley.
Item: to my wife 3 kine, 30 moder sheep and all my household stuff,
if my son Thomas die before his mother I will she have 2 oxen and 5 horses, if he live he to pay her 3 quarters of oats and 4 quarters of barley yearly.
A priest to sing for my soul, 5 marks.
Item: at my burying 6 priests and at my months mind.

Item: to Ellen my wife and Thomas my son to be my executors.
My lord Abergavenney and the prior of Rochester to be overseers.

Item: my lands in Wouldham and Chatham to my son Thomas, paying my wife yearly his mother �10.
Also my lands in Halling.
If he has no heirs of his body lawfully begotten, then the lands to go to Agnes Stoneying my daughter.
If both die without issue, one part to the priests, the second part to the church of Wouldham and Halling and the last part to the chancel of the dead?

Item: my daughter Agnes my house and grounds in Snodland and then to her son John Stoneying.
