First I give and bequeath unto my Nephew and heir at Law James Nickalls the Legacy or Sum of Fifty pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain and no more
Also I give and devise unto my Nephew James Sale his heirs and assigns for ever all that my Freehold Estate with the appurtenances called Stone Cross Farm situate in the several parishes of Penshurst Ashurst and Withyham in the several Counties of Kent and Sussex or some or one of them and which I lately purchased of Mr. John William Round
Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew James Sale all my live and dead stock and crop implements of husbandry and other effects that shall be on or belonging to the said Farm at the time of my decease
And I do hereby charge and make liable my said Estate called Stone Cross Farm together with the said
Stock and crop implements of husbandry and other effects to and with the payment of the Sum of Five
hundred pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain unto my Nephew David Sale
And also the like sum of Five hundred pounds unto my Nephew Thomas Barker
And I do hereby direct and order my said Nephew James Sale his heirs Executors or administrators to pay the said sums of Five hundred pounds and Five hundred pounds unto the said David Sale and Thomas Barker respectively within one year after my decease.
Also I give unto my Nephew George Barker the Legacy of One hundred pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain
Also I give unto my Nephew John Barker the Legacy of One hundred pounds of like lawful Money
Also I give unto my Nephew William Barker the Legacy of One hundred pounds of like lawful Money
Also I give unto my Nephew Robert Sale the Legacy of One hundred pounds of like lawful Money
Also I give unto my Sister Mary the wife of John Baker the Legacy of Fifty pounds of like lawful Money
Also I give unto my Sister Jane Poole Widow the Legacy of Fifty pounds of like lawful Money
Also I give unto my Sister Ann Barker Widow the Legacy of Fifty pounds of like lawful Money
Also I give unto my Sister Hannah the wife of James Sale the Legacy of Fifty pounds of like lawful Money
And I do hereby direct and order my Executors hereinafter named to pay all my just debts and legacies
within one year after my decease by and out of my personal Estate
And as to all the rest and residue of my real and personal Estates whatsoever and wheresoever I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my Nephew Thomas Sale his heirs Executors adm�ors and assigns for ever
And I do hereby make and constitute my said Nephews James Sale and Thomas Sale joint Executors of this my Will
In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament contained in two sheets of paper to the
first sheet thereof set my hand and to this second and last sheet my hand and seal the Sixth day of
November One thousand Eight hundred and two

This Will was proved at London the Thirty first day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and four before the Worshipful Charles Coote Doctor of Laws and Surrogate of the Right Honorable Sir William Wynne Knight also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully Constituted by the Oaths of James Sale and Thomas Sale the Nephews of the deceased the Executors named in the said Will to whom administration of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
Thomas Nickalls was buried at Penshurst 2 November 1804
