I James Noakes of Stone in the County of Kent do bequeath to my dear Sister Ann Daw the Interest of 300 Pounds my Property now at this time in the Possession of Messrs Brenchley & Co Gravesend as long as she lives
at her decease I give the same �300 to Willm Shipton Grandson of my Sister Ann Daw

& I do desire at my death that what interest money shall be due on the aforesaid �300 at that time likewise all money that I may have in the hands of my Masters for whom I have been in the habit of working shall go to satisfy my just debts Funeral Expences etc. and if that should not be found sufficient according to the opinion of my surviving Friends the residue shall be paid from the different things which I possess such as working Tools etc. and which things I have left to be at disposal of the aforesaid Willm Shipton

& it is my wish that John Hibber of Stone with whom I have been in the habit of living many years shall direct with the said Willm Shipton my Funeral & to see me decently in Stone Church Yard by the side of the Son & Daughter of the said John Hibber
