I Susanna Norton of the parish of St Laurence in the country of Kent, Widow, being infirm in Body, but of sound and disposing Mind and Memory praised be God. Therefore, on this twenty fourth Day of April one thousand Seven hundred and forty and in the thirteenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great and so forth, make and declare this my last Will and Testament in the Manner and fortune following.
First I recommend my soul into the Lands of the almighty God that gave it me and my Body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix herein after mentioned

and as for all such Worldly Goods and Estate wherewith it shall please God to bless me and that I shall be possessed of at the Time of my Decease
I give, devise and bequeath unto my Sisters, Mary the Wife of John Watson and Elizabeth Bowden equally be divided between them, share and share alike,
and I make and appoint my said Sisters joint Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me before made.

Signed sealed and published in the presence of Ann Friend her Mark, Richard Martin notary public.

The before registered Will of Susannah Norton Deceased was proved the 13th Day of August in the year of our Lord 1741 before the Reverend Richard Monins, clerk, lawful Surrogate to the Worshipful George Lee Doctor of Laws, Official General to the Rev. the Archdeacon of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oaths of Mary Watson and Elizabeth Bowden, sisters of the said deceased and Executrixes therein named to whom, administration of the Goods, Chattels, and credits of the said Deceased was committed they being first sworn, well and truly to perform the same.
