In the name of god amen The Xiijth day of March in the yeare of our Lord god 1617 And of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord James by the grace of god of England France and Ireland Kinge defender of the faith per the sisteenth and of Scotland the one and sisteeth
I Simon Norwood of the parish of St Peter in the Isle of Thanet and County of Kent yeoman being weak in bodye but of sound and p[er]fect memory thanke be given onto god doe make and ordayne this my last will and t[es]tament in man[n]er and forme following First I bequeath my soule in the hands of Allmightie god my maker and redeemer writing? by the only death and passion of Jesus Christ my Savyour to obtayne free forgivenesse of my sinnes and everlasting life And my bodye to the earth to be interred in the Church yard of St Peter aforesaid

Item I give and bequeath unto Margaret my wife six poundes by the yeare of good and lawfull money of England to be payd unto her by myne Executor hereafter named quarterly by even and equall portions the first payment to beginner the next ordinary festivall quarter day immediately ensuing my decease
And her dwelling also in my house situate and beinge in the parish of St Peter aforesaid during the time of her sayd natural life

Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne Nicholas Norwood and the heires of his bodye lawfully begotten for ever my sayd house with all the lands thereunto belonging with all and singular the appurtenances situate lyinge and beinge in the parish of St Peter aforesaid

Item I give and bequeath uno my sonne Thomas Norwood twenty pounds of lawful English money to be payd unto him by myne Executor within two years next after my decease
Item I give unto my daughter Katherine wife of William Beard six poundes of like lawful money to be payd in like man[n]er within iij years next after my decease
And yf either of them happen to dye before the sayd somes be payd as aforesaid my mynd is that their heires shall enjoy the some Thereof

of my goodes and Chattells housholdstuffe money and money worth I give unto my sonne Nicholas Norwood aforesayd
whom I make na dordayne the sole and only Executor of this my last will and tes[t]ament
And I hereby revoke all other wills heretoforeby mee made And I Doe publish and declare this to be myne only last will & Tes[t]ment
