In the name of God Amen I Richard Norwood of the parish of St. Peter in ye Isle of Thanett inye Countie of Kent, Maltster being of good & p[er]fect memorie blessed bee God though sick & weake in bodie doe make & ordaine this my Last Will & Testament revoking all former Wills whatsoever in man[n]er & forme following ................
First I comitt my Soule into ye handes of Almightie God who gave it & my bodie to ye Earth from whence it came to be decently buried at ye discretion of my executor hereafter named

Item (I) give & bequeath unto my two daughters Susan & Sarah all that my Messuage or Tenement, Malthouse, orchards, gardens, Backsides w[i]th Seaven Acres of Land thereunto belonging wth th[e] appurtenances & to their heires for ever

But my mind & meaning is that Susan my now wife shall live in my said house & & enjoy one Moitie of all my said Landes afore bequeathed during her naturall life not wthstanding wthout any ye lett or molestacon [molestation] of them ye said Susan & Sarah or their heires

Item I give unto my daughter Mary eight shillings yearely out of my said Lands quarterly to be paid during her naturall life
Item I give unto Susan my wife my best bedd wth ye furniture thereunto belonging & ye use of all other ye utensills of household whatsoever

Lastly I doe make & ordaine my Cousin Michaell Norwood the younger of ye Parish of St. Peter aforesaid my sole executor of this my Last Will & testament appointing him to sell any? or all of my p[er]sonall estate w[ha]tsoever for ye payment of all such debts as shall bee any way due or oweing unto any person whatsoever And I give unto my said executor for his paines in ye execution hereof the sume of fortie shillings

In wittnesse hereof I have hereunto sett my hand this five & twentyeth day of June in ye yeare of our Lord one thousand six hundred & sixtie seaven
