In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Norwood of sound mind and memory do by this my last Will and Testament order and appoint my only daughter Mary to pay all my just debts and then all my Estate both real and personal wheresoever and whatsoever I leave give and bequeath to her and her heirs forever

Because though I have done as much as I could well do for my four sons I have hardly ever done anything for her till now and because she has always behaved her self dutifully and respectively towards me

And as for my four sons John Richard Thomas and Robert I do hereby order my beloved daughter Mary to give them one shilling apiece soon after my decease

And my further will is that my daughter Mary shall be my whole and sole Executrix

In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal this Twenty fifth day of December 1740
