Because though I have done as much as I could well do for my four sons I have hardly ever done anything for her till now and because she has always behaved her self dutifully and respectively towards me
And as for my four sons John Richard Thomas and Robert I do hereby order my beloved daughter Mary to give them one shilling apiece soon after my decease
And my further will is that my daughter Mary shall be my whole and sole Executrix

The before registered Will of Thomas Norwood deceased was proved the 9th day of June in the year of Our Lord 1741 before the Worshipfull George Paul Doctor of Laws Vicar General to the most Rev�d Father in God John by Divine Providence Lord Archbishop of Canterbury primate of all England and Metropolitan exercising his ordinary Visitation in and through his whole Diocese and City of Canterbury and adm�on of all and singular the Goods Chattles and credits any way concerning his Will was granted to Mary Maytam daughter of the said deceased and sole Executrix therein named she being first sworn well and truly to perform the same.
