Memorandum That John Nower late of Ashford in the Countie of Kent Linen Draper deceased did in the time of the dicstresse whereof he died and within a day or two next before his death which was the seaven and twentieth day of September in the yeare of our Lord one Thousand sixe hundred Fortie and eight utter and declare his last Will and Testament Nuncupative with a testamentarie purpose and intention he beinge then in sound and perfect understandinge and memorie in these or the like words and in the manner followinge That is to say

I give tenne poundes to my brother Thomas whome I make my Executor

And all the rest of my goods besides that tenne pounds I give to my uncle Meaninge? his onely daughter Elizabeth.

This Nuncupative Will was proved at London before the Judges for probate of wills and granting Administracons lawfully authorized the Foureteenth day of February in the yeare of our Lord God according to the Computacon of the Church of England one thousand sixe hundred Fiftie sixe by the Oath of Thomas Nower the natural and lawfull brother of the said deceased and sole Executor named in the said will To whome was committed Administracon of all and singular the said deceaseds goods Chattells and debts He being first sworne by virtue of a commission issued forth in that behalfe well and truely to administer the same.
