As the Lord will Soe Lett itt come to passe he name be blessed for ever mour Amen
The Two and Twentieth day of June in the yere of our Lord One Thousand Six Hundred fiftie Nyne
I Daniell Nower of Pluckly in the Countie of Kent Clothier being sicke and weake in bodie yet of good and perfect memory (prayse and thanks bee unto Almightie God therefore) doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in manner & forme following etc.
First I will and committ my Soule into the hands of Almightie God my creatour trusting through the only and alone merritts of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to receave the free pardon of all my sinnes And I committ my body to the earth from whence it was taken to bee buried in Christian like manner by my executors hereafter named

I will and bequeath unto the poore of the parish of Pluckly the Somme of twenty shillings to bee paid them within three monthes after my decease by the discrecon of my executors hereafter named

Alsoe I bequeath unto Marie Sharpe The Somme of Twentie shillings to bee paid her within three monthes after my decease
Alsoe I bequeath unto Rodulphus Oxley the Somme of Twentie shillings to bee paid him within three Monthes after my decease
Alsoe I bequeath unto my Cosen Mr. John Nower of Ashford the Somme of Thirtie shillings to buy him a Ring to bee paid him within three monthes after my decease
And my Will is that all theis legacies shall be paid by my executors

Alsoe I bequeath unto my Cosen Mrs. Nower the wife of Mr. John Nower of Ashford the some of Twentie shillings to buy her a Ring to bee paid him within three monthes after my decease by my executors
Alsoe I give and bequeath unto my Brother in Lawe Henry Certer the Somme of five pounds
Alsoe I give and bequeath unto George Deeds of Pluckly the Somme of five pounds

All the Residue of my goods and Chattells whatsoever I will & bequeath to my fower daughters Elizabeth, Mary, Anne & Joane equally to be devided amongst them by equall porcons when they shall accomplyshe and as she shall accomplish their severall ages of Eighteene yeres or their severall dayes of marriage which shall first happen

And further my will & meaning is, that if it should please God that one or any of them should dye before they obtayne the age of eighteene yeres or their day of Marriage, That then their porcons shalbe equally devided amongst the other Sisters

And I would intreate and doe hereby make and appoint my loving brother in lawe Henry Certer of Willesborowe and my loveing freind George Deeds of Plucklie to be executors of this my last will and testament intreating them to be carefull what in them shall lye and bee to see the same fulfilled according to the true meaning hereof and to see that my children bee well educated and brought up

In Witnes whereof I have published this my last will and testament and have written my name and have alsoe sett my Seale revokeing all former willes and testaments whatsoever heretofore made etc.

This will was proved at London The seaven and twentieth day of August in the yere of our Lord God One Thousand Six Hundred fiftie Nyne [1659] Before the Judges for Probate of willes and grannting Administracons lawfully authorized by the oathe of Henry Certer one of the executor in the said will named To whome was committed Administracon of All and singuler the goods Chattells & debts of the deceased hee being first by commission sworne well and truely to administr
Power being reserved of grannting like Probate to George Deeds the other executor when he shall come and legally require the same
