This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Ollive of the Parish of Horsmonden in the County of Kent Spinster made and published this twenty seventh day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eight three
First and Principally I commend my Soul unto Almighty God and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors her after named and do dispose of such Temporal Estate as it hath pleased God to bestow on me as follows

First I give and devise unto my Sister Sarah Ollive of Horsmonden aforesaid Spinster one Annuity or Yearly Rent Charge of five Pounds of lawful money of Great Britain
and to my Nephew John Ollive Son of my late Brother Solomon Ollive one other Annuity or Yearly Rent Charge of five Pounds of like money
to be paid to my said Sister and Nephew during the term of their respective natural lives by equal Quarterly Payments in the Year (that is to say) the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist Saint Michael the Archangel the Nativity of our Lord Christ and the Annunciation of the blessed Virgin Mary free from all Deductions for Taxes and other Impositions whatsoever the first payment of the said several Annuitys to begin and be made on such of the said several Feast days as shall first and next happen after my decease

And I do hereby charge and make liable All that my Messuage or Tenement Farm Lands and Premises with the Appurtenances situate and being at or near a certain place called Rosemary Lane in the Parish of Ticehurst in the County of Sussex and now in the Occupation of Richard Barber or his Assigns and which said Premises I now hold to me and my Heirs by Copy of a Court Roll of the Manor of Hammerden in the County of Sussex aforesaid and which I have duly surrendered to the use of this my Will with the Payment of the said several Annuities and every part thereof

And in case the said Annuities or either of them or any part thereof shall be behind and unpaid by the space of Thirty days next after the same shall become payable as aforesaid Then I do hereby impower my said Sister and Nephew to enter into and upon the said Messuage Lands and Premises or any part thereof and there to distrain for the same and the distress and distresses there found to have take and dispose of according to the Law for recovering and obtaining the said Annuities and any of them together with the Charges (if any are) as is normal and Customary in such cases

Also I give and bequeath unto my two Nieces Mary (now the Wife of Hugh Talbot) and Ann (now the Wife of John Hart) Daughters of my said Brother Solomon Ollive and to each of them the Sum of twenty Pounds the first Payment thereof to begin and be made within six Months next after my decease
And my Will is that the Receipts of my said two Nieces alone for the said Legacies under their hands shall be a sufficient discharge and discharges to my Executor for the same notwithstanding their Coverture and therefore I do desire my Executor from time to time to pay the said sums as they respectively shall become due into the proper hands of my two Nieces Ann Hart and Mary Talbot for their sole use to the intent that the same shall not be at the disposal or Subject to the Debts of their present or any future Husbands

Also I give and bequeath to my said Sister Sarah Ollive one half part of my Household Goods Linnen Wearing Apparel and Plate
and the other half part I give to my three Nieces Ann (the Wife of Mr Charles Heath) Sarah Ollive and Mary Ollive Daughters of my Brother Benjamin Ollive equally to be divided between them share and share alike unless I shall otherwise order or divide the same in my lifetime

Also I give and bequeath to my God daughter Mary Ollive Daughter of Mr John Ollive of Goudhurst in Kent the Sum of twenty Pounds to be paid by my Executor when she shall have attained the Age of one and twenty Years

Also I give and devise unto my said Brother Benjamin Ollive and to his Heirs and Assigns for ever All the said Messuage Farm Lands and Premises in Ticehurst aforesaid and every part thereof with their Appurtenances Subject to the payment of the said several Annuities

Also I give and bequeath unto my said Brother Benjamin Ollive all the rest and residue of my Goods Chattels and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever (after Payment of my Debts Legacies Funeral Expences Probate of this my Will and other incident Charges)

And I do make and appoint my said Brother Benjamin Ollive Executor of this my last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke all other Wills by me made declaring this to be my last Will and Testament
