In the Name of God Amen I James Oxley of the Parish of Sevenoaks in the County of Kent being sick and weak in Body but of a sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding praised be God for the same Do therefore make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and Form following that is to say
First and principally I resign my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God that gave it and my Body I Commit to the Earth to be decently buryed at the Discretion of my Executors hereinafter named And as to the Temporal Estate that it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and dispose thereof as followeth

Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Brother Richard Oxley of Eaton bridge and to my Brother William Oxley of North Fleet the Sum of One Shilling Each to be Payd to them within twelve months next after my Decease by my Executors hereinafter named

Item I give and bequeath unto my Nephew James Oxley Son of my Brother Robert Oxley the Sum of Five Pounds of Lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid him by my Executors within twelve Months next after my Decease

Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister in Law Elizabeth Gream Widow the Sum of twenty pounds of Lawfull money of Great Britain to be payd her by my Executors within twelve Months next after my Decease

Item I give and bequeath unto my Nephew William Gream All my Goods Chattels Cattle Stock Household Stuff Furniture and all my Bills Bonds Mortgages Leases Plate ready money Debts owing me and all other my Estate whatsoever that I shall dye Possessed of or Interested in To hold unto the said William Gream from and immediately after my Decease

Item I nominate constitute and Appoint my Nephew John Gream of Oxted in the County of Surry Bricklayer and my said Nephew William Gream Executors of this my last Will and Testament

Item I hereby Order and direct that all Cost Charges Damages and Expences whatsoever that my said Nephew John Gream shall any Wise Sustain or be put unto touching and concerning his being an Executor to this my Will shall be first payd to him out of my Goods and Chattels herein before given and bequeathed And all the rest residue and remainder thereof to go unto my said Nephew William Gream as is herein before appointed

In Witness whereof I the said James Oxley the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament (hereby revoking all former Wills and Bequests by me at any time heretofore made) set my hand and Seal this twenty Eighth day of June in the Sixteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second And in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Forty two The mark of James Oxley
