In the name of God Amen The two and twentieth Day of September 1667 I Richard Page of Petham in the County of Kent yeoman being sick and weak of body but of good and perfect mind and memory God be praysed therefore doe advisedly and considerately make & ordaine this my Last Will and Testament in manner ffollowing

First I bequeath my soul to God that gave it my body to the Earth from whence it was Taken to be buried at the Discretion of my Executrix hereafter named & for the temporall estate which the Lord in mercy hath lent me my mind & will is to bestow in manner ffollowing

Item I make Rebecca my wellbeloved wife my Sole Executrix giving her full authority to sell all lands in Elmsted to pay and discharge all my debts to every person whatsoever and the residue thereof to dispose of At pleasure and further my mind and will is if it shall happen my said Wife doe marry againe at any tyme hereafter to ant person whatsoever that then and before such marriage solemnized my said wife shall give sufficient Security into the hands of my bond? Brother Gregory Browne to pay unto my 4 children The Sum of sevenscore pounds Lawfull English money that is to my Sonne John Page ffour score pounds part of the said sum & Twenty pounds like money to each of my three daughters to the survivor of them equally divided ffinally I desire my said Brother Gregory Browne to bee overseered of this my last Will and Testament giving him fforty shillings for his paynes In Witness whereunto I sett my hand and seale the day & yeare above written Richard Page Signed sealed published declared to bee the last Will and Testament of Richard Page In the presence of
