First I will that my debts & funeral charges be paid & discharged by my Executrix hereafter nominated & appointed
Item I give & bequeath unto my loving wife Elizabeth all that my freehold messuage and all other the
appurtenances thereunto belonging together with all & singular the rents issues & profits thereof all
which s�d messuage & all other the premises are situate lying & being in Lenham in the County
aforesaid, for & during the term of her natural life but no longer
And then I give devise & bequeath the said messuage and all other the s�d premises unto my son John during the term of his natural life provided my sd son should have no heirs lawfully begotten of his own body,
But if my sd son should happen to have heirs lawfully begotten as afores�d Then I will devise & bequeath the sd messuage and all other the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto my sd son John and his heirs forever, To have and to hold unto my sd son John & his heirs forever
But my sd son John shall pay unto my two grandsons Thomas Ballard & George Ballard out of the sd messuage and premises the sum of ten pounds of lawful money of Great Britain six months after the decease of my sd wife, and see that the money be put out to use for the two children and be equally divided between the sd Thomas & George when they arrive at the age of one & twenty years
Item I will devise give & bequeath the sd messuage and all other the appurtenances thereunto
belonging after the decease of my sd son John provided he die without issue unto my two daughters
Elizabeth and Anne and to them & their heirs for ever
But if my sd daughter Elizabeth should die and leave no issue lawfully begotten of her own body then to
go to my daughter Anne and her two sons (viz.) Thomas & George & to them and their heirs forever And
to have and to hold unto my sd daughter Anne & her two sons aforesd and to them and their heirs forever
Lastly all the Rest Residue & remainder of my real & personal Estate not herein particularly devised I give devise & bequeath to my loving wife Elizabeth and with full power for her to dispose of the same at her will & pleasure and be disposed of by her last Will & testament or by any other ways as she shall think proper
And I do make Elizabeth my sd wife my full & sole Executrix of this my last Will & testament revoking all other or former will & wills by me heretofore made
