In the name of God Amen I Susanna Page wife of Vincent Page of the parish of Barham in the County of Kent Yeoman do hereby make publish and declare my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say Whereas the said Vincent Page previous to his marriage with me to wit on or about the twenty first day of October One Thousand seven hundred and eighty three entered into certain bond or writing obligatory reciting our then intended marriage And that the said Vincent Page for the considerations therein mentioned had agreed that I the said Susanna Page then Susanna Chittenden Widow should be entitled unto and paid out of the Estate and Effects of the said Vincent Page the sum of Eighty Pounds to be entirely at my own disposal by Will or otherwise as I should think proper and which said sum of eighty pounds to be in full satisfaction for all Dower or Widow Right that I should or might have on the Estate of the said Vincent Page. The condition of the said Obligation was and is such that if after the said marriage should be had and solemnized He the said Vincent Page should peaceably and quietly permit and suffer me in due form of law to sign seal publish and declare my last Will and Testament in writing and in and by the same to give will and bequeath or otherwise to dispose of at my own free Will and pleasure unto such person or persons as I should think proper the said sum of Eighty Pounds

And in case the said Vincent Page should survive me if he the said Vincent Page his heirs Executors or Administrators or any of them upon reasonable request to him or them to be made by any such person or persons to whom I should give Will Bequeath or dispose any such sum or sums of money not exceeding in the whole the said sum of Eighty Pounds should well and truly pay or cause to be paid All and every such sum or sums of money so to be given willed bequeathed or disposed of as aforesaid by me in such manner as I should appoint.

And also in case I should happen to survive the said Vincent Page then if the heirs Executors or Administrators of the said Vincent Page should pay or cause to be paid to me or to such person or persons as I should appoint to receive the same the full of the said sum of Eighty Pounds within six months next after the death of the said Vincent Page then the said Bond or Obligation to be void as in and by the said in part recited Bond or Obligation relation being thereunto had more fully and at large will appear

Now I the said Susanna Page in pursuance and by virtue of the power and Authority to me given by the said recited Bond do by this writing which I direct may be taken and considered as my last Will and Testament give devise and bequeath unto my Grandaughter Susanna Hogben daughter of my deceased daughter Mary Hogben the sum of Twenty Pounds part of the said sum of Eighty pounds to be paid her when she shall attain the age of Twenty One Years

And I do hereby give devise and bequeath the sum of Sixty Pounds being the Residue of the said sum of Eighty Pounds so secured by the said recited Bond or Obligation and therein directed or mentioned to be at my disposal as aforesaid and also all the rest residue and remainder of my monies Goods Chattels Property and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said Grand daughter Susanna Hogben and to all and every other child and children of my said daughter Mary Hogben whether male or female equally to be divided amongst them share and share alike and to be paid to them when and as they shall respectively attain the age of twenty one years

And in case any one or more of the said children shall happen to die under the age of twenty one years leaving issue of his her or their body or bodies then I direct the part or parts of him her or them so dying to go and be paid to such Issue And if any such child or children shall happen to die under the age of twenty one years without issue then I direct the part or parts or him her or them so dying without issue to go and be paid to the survivor of the said children and the issue of the deceased child or children (if any) such issue taking only the share which the parent or parents would have been entitled to if living

And I do hereby appoint Dan�l Fox esq. of the parish of Barham Executor of this my Will And I do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said Susanna Page have to this my last Will and Testament set and affixed my hand and seal the Seventh Day of March in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety seven.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Susanna Page the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses

May 13th 1801 Daniel Fox the sole Executor named in this Will was duly sworn as usual and that the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased do not amount in value to the sum of three hundred pounds Before me Joshua Dix, Surrogate
