In the name of God Amen the xxiiijth day of Octobe in the yere of or Lord God a [1529]
I William Paramore of the p[a]rish of Eastery of hole mynd and good of remembrance make this my testament and last Will in forme folowyng
First I bequeath my soule to Almyghty God, to or lady and to all the seynts of hevyn, my body to be buried un the church yard ther

Also I will have at my burieng in the seid church a dirige & v masses Also at my monthesmynd as many and at my xij monthesmynd as many And for the space of iij yereis after at my Annunvsary evry yere v masses
Also I bequeath to the high Awture [Altar] for my tythes and oblacons forgotten xxd
Also I bequeath to the loer light of ower lady half a seame of barley And as moche to the light of seynt John the Baptist
And one busshell of barley to the light of seynt Margaret
Item I bequeath to the iiij men that shall bare me to the churche xvjd that is to say, evry man iiijd

The residue of all my moveable goods I will that Kateryn my wyff have the one halfe and the other halfe to be devyded Among my children in equall porcons and evry childe to be the others heire
And I will the seid Kateryn to have the govrnannce and rule of all my children wt there porcons that shall happen unto them unto suche tyme as they may be able to governe them selfe

And if it happe(n) the seid Kateryn my Wyff to mary unto suche A man as wilbe so unkynde that she maye not ordre and rule my children as she ought to do then I will that my ovrsear Olyver Goddered shall have the govrnannce of all my children and of suche goods as shall happen unto them until suche tyme that they maye be able to helpe them selfe at the leste of the age of xvj yeris

And I ordeyn and make Kateryn my Wyffe and Sawsere my sonne [Saphir] my trewe executors and Olyver Goddered myne Ovrsear

This is the Last Will of me the seid Willia Paramore made the daye and yere abovesaid

Furst as to[u]chyng my lands and ten[em]ents lyeng and being in the prish of Eastry and Asshe in the Whiche I have enfeoffed John Ambrose and John Howgyn I will that Kateryn my wyffe shall have immediately after my desease my howse at Asshe wt a garden and iij Rodds of Woodland wt all ther apprtenncis unto the tyme that my sonne Saffery and Custannce my doughter come to the age of of xviij yeris and then the said house wt the garden and my Rodds of Woodland wt thapprtenncis to be shyfted and devyded in equall porcions between the seid Saffery my sonne and Custannce my doughter in fee symple

Also I will that the seid Kateryn my wyffe shall have my house wt a garden and one Acre of land lyeng and beyng in the prysh of Eastrey aforeseid for (the) terme of her lyffe And after her descease I will that the seid house wt the garden be devyded in equall porcions betwene Robert my sonne and Harry my sonne in fee symple And Thomas my sonne to have the acre of land called the horesacre in fee symple

Also I will that the foreseid Kateryn my wyffe shall have the house the whiche I bought of the heires of Robert Sharpe lyeng and beyng in the prish of Eastry And after her descease I will that John my sonne shall have yt in fee symple

And Albeyt [all be it] that I have disposed my houses and my lands after the discease of Kateryn my Wyffe unto my children in fee symple, yet yf any of them discease wtout heires of his body laufully begoten and afore his porcon be gevyn or sold in suche case evry of them to be thothers [the others] heire notwithstandyng the fee symple in any Wyse
