In the name of God Amen Forasmuch as it is incident by nature for all men to dy(e) and nothing soo uncertaine as the hower when
I Henry Parker of the parish of St. Lawrence in the Isle of Thanet in the county of Kent fisherman, being att present very sicke in body but of sound minde and good and perfect memory (praised be God) doe make and ordeine this my last will and testament the eighteenth day of December in the yeare of our Lord Christ one thousand six hundred and sixtie in mannerand forme following(that is to say)
First I give and comitt my soule into the hands of allmighty God my Creator hoping assuredly to be saved by the only meritts of Jesus Christ my blessed redeemer
Secondly I comitt my body to the earth whereof it was made And to be buried in the Church yard of the parish of St. Lawrence aforesaid in a comely and decent manner according to the discrecon of my Executors heere after menconed
And lastly as for my worldly estate which it hath pleased God here to bestow upon me I give and bequeath the same in manner and forme following

Imprimis I will give and bequeath unto my now loving wife Jane Parker the sume of ten pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid unto her or unto her assignes by my Executors heereafter menconed out of my moveable goods and chattels within one whole yeare next after my death and decease
Allso I will give and bequeath unto my said loving wife Jane Parker all the moveables and howshol stuffe and goods wch shee had of her owne and brought mee att or [our] marriage
Allso I give and bequeath unto my said loving wife her dwellng and howse roome in my howse where William Naylor now liveth during the terme of her naturall life from and imediatly after my death and decease according as it was covenanted betwixt us at the time of our marriage

Item I will give and bequeath unto my two sonnes Henry Parker and Lewes Parker my two dwelling howses, messuages and tenements wherein I now live and wherein William Naylor now liveth with the kitchen, water well, yards and one garden Plott and all other the conveniences and appurtenances unto them belonging equally betwixt them from & imediatly after my death and decease soe to have and to hold all and Singuler those my said messuages and tenements with the kitchen, water well, yardes and garden plott as aforemenconed withall & every theire appurtenances unto them belonging or in any wise apperteyning unto them my said two sonnes Henry and Lewes equally and to be theire heires forever from and after my death and decease they allowing my said loving wife Jane her dweling and house roome in the howse where William Naylor now liveth during the terme of her naturall life according as it is before expressed

Item I will and bequeath unto my sonne Henry Parker the small yale [yawl] or fishing boat wch I usually goe to sea in for whiting to be his, his heires and assignes from & imediatly after my death and decease
Item I allso give unto my said sonne Henry my kettle not [exactly as written]

Item I give unto my youngest sonne Lewes Parker all that my quarter part of the good fisher boate called the “Golden Corke” of Ramsgate whereof John Spa goeth Mastor withall that my quarter part of her rigging and furniture to be his, his heires and assignes from & imediatly after my death and decease

Item I will give and bequeath unto my eldest daughter Elizabeth Parker the sume of Twentie pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid unto her or unto her assignes out of all those my houshold stuffe, moveable goods and Chattels by my Executors heereafter named att her age of one and twenty yeares or att her day of marriage or at which of them shall first happen

Item I will give and bequeath unto my youngest daughter Anne Parker the sume of twenty pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid unto her or unto her assignes out of all those my houshold stuffe moveable goods and chattells by my Executors heereafter named att her full age of one and twenty yeares or att her day of marriage or at which of them shall first happen

And if it shall happen that any or either of them my said daughters shall dye before theire day of marriage or before theire age of one and twenty yeares then I will give and bequeath her porcon above menconed unto my other daughter that shall outlive and survive her and to be paid unto her or unto her assignes by my Executors at her day of marriage or age of one and twentie yeares as aforesaid
but if it shall happen that both my said daughters shall dy before the daies of payment afore expressed then I will give and bequeath the sd. summes of money to them given as aforesaid unto my two sonnes Henry Parker and Lewes Parker equally and to be paid unto them or to theire assignes equally by my Executors at the times when my said two daughters should have accomplished the full age of one and twenty yeares as aforesd.

Item I will give and bequeath unto my eldest sonne Henry Parker and to my youngest sonne Lewes Parker and unto my two daughters Elizabeth Parker and Anne Parker one small chest of linen equally to be devided betwixt them within one moneth next after my death and decease

Item it is allso my will and desire that if it shall happen that any or either of my saide sonnes Henry and Lewes shall dye without heires lawfully begotten by theire bodies the I will give and bequeath his part of all and Singuler my said messuages and tenements with theire appurtenances as they are before bequeathed that shall soe dy unto him that shall survive and outlive the other and to be his and his heries forever from and imediatly after the death and decease of his said brother
But if it shall happen that both my said sonnes shall dy without heires lawfully begotten as aforesd. Then I will give and bequeath all those my said houses messuages and tenemts. aforesaid with all and every theire appurtenances as aforesaid unto my said two daughters Elizabeth and Anne equally and to be theires and theire heires for ever from and imediatly after the death and decease of the longer liver of their said brothers

Item I will give and bequeath unto my two Executors heereafter named the sume of fortie shillings a peece of good and lawfull money of England out of my moveable goods and chattells to be paid by themselves and for theire paines and trouble that they shall be at about this my said will

And lastly for all my goodes and chattells and houshold stuffe wch is yet not bequeathed and given I will give and bequeath the same unto my said two Executors heereafter named to pay and discharge all those legacies as were? before bequeathed & given and according to the said assignes before expressed & allso to pay & discharge all my funerall charges and expenses and allso to pay and discharge all other charges and expenses that they shall be at about proving of this my said last will and testament and all other chares and expenses that they shall any wayes be at about this my said will and by reason of this theire Executorship

And when all those legacies before given re paid and discharged and all other expenses soe that those my said Executors shall be at shall be defrayed and fully paid if there shall be then remaine and be anything over and above my will and desire is that it be equally devided and given unto my said fower Children Henry Parker, Lewes Parker, Elizabeth Parker and Anne Parker by them my said Executors heereafter named within one full yeare next after the said legacies shall be fully paid and all charges heereby shall be discharged

An I doe heere by theis pnts [these presents] make and ordaine my loving brother Robert Bennet and my eldest sonne Henry Parker my sole and onely Executors of this my last will and testament

In Witnesse whereof I the said Henry Parker have heereunto sett and putt my hand and seale dated the day and yeare of the date heereof in the first lease? heereof written
