In the name of God Amen I Henry Parsons of Deale in the County of Kent Brewer being in good health of body, and of sound and perfect mind and memory (praised be God for the same) Yet considering the uncertainty of this mortall Life doe make and declare this my last Will and Testament the Fourth day of August Anno Dini 1699 and in the Eleventh yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord William the Third, King of England & in manner following (that is to say)
First I commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker and prserver, trusting by the onely merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to be made pertaker of a better Life after this mortall Life ended, my body I comitt to the Earth to be decently buried according to the discrecon of my Executor hereafter named And as for such worldly Estate as God hath been pleased to bless and intrust me with I give bequeath and dispose of the same as followeth

Inpri[mi]s I give and bequeath unto my well beloved wife Anne the some of fourty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid unto her by my Executor within twelve months next after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my Sonn in Law Arthur Wallenger of Deale aforesaid Pylott the sume of twenty pounds of like lawfull money to be paid unto him within twelve months next after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my Sonn in Law William Bessilly of Deale aforesaid Pylott one guinea of Gold to be paid unto him by my Executor within one month next after my decease

Item I give and bequeath unto my Son John Parsons the sume of twenty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid unto him by my executor within twelve months next after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Parsons the sume of fifty pounds of lawfull money of England to be paid unto her on the day of her marriage, and in the meane time to be put out at interest by my Executor and the Interest thereof to be paid to her yearly towards her maintenance
I give and bequeath unto my daughter Hannah Parsons the sume of fifty pounds of like money to be paid unto her on the day of her marriage, and in the meane time to be put out at interest by my Executor and the Interest thereof to be paid to her yearly towards her maintenance

Item I give and bequeath unto my said wife Anne all the rents issues and profitts of all that messuage ground and pr[e]misses now in the Occupacon of the said Arthur Wallenger, And all that messuage ground and prmisses next adjoyneing in the Occupacon of Joseph Virgo to be had received and taken by my said wife for and during the Terme of her natural Life, so as my said wife doe well and sufficiently repaire the said two messuages and prmisses from time to time as need shall require

Item from and after the decease of my said wife, I give and bequeath all the said messuage or Tenem[en]t ground and prmisses in the Occupacon of the said Arthur Wallenger unto my daughter Mary her Executors Adm[inistrato]rs and Assigns
Item from and after the decease of my said wife I give and bequeath all the said messuage or Tenemt ground and prmisses in the Occupacon of the said Joseph Virgo unto my said daughter Hannah her Executors Adm'rs and Assigns

Item I give and bequeath unto my Executor hereafter named all that messuage or Tenement brewhouse ground and prmisses now in my Occupacon together with the Copper and utensills belonging to the said brewhouse, and all that messuage or Tenement, Ground prmisses late in the Occupacon of William Archer, Cooper and alsoe all that messuage and ground late in the Occupacon of Mary Stupple, widow, and alsoe all that barne, ground and prmisses lyeing and being at the North End of Deale called the folly, all which I give to my Executor to the intent and purpose that he may be enabled to pay and discharge my debts and the Legacies herein bequeathed
Item all and singular the rest and residue of my goods Chattells and personall Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath the same and every parte thereof unto my Executor hereafter named his Executors, Adm'rs and Assigns

Provided always and my mind and will is that if either of my said two daughters shall happen to dye before she shall receive the bequests and Legacies hereby given her I will that the parte and share of her soe dyeing shall goe to the Survivor of them her Executors, Adm'rs and Assigns
And alsoe if both my said daughters shall happen to dye before they shall receive the bequests and Legacies hereby given them, then I give and bequeath the same unto my said Sonn John Parsons and the said Arthur Wallenger equally share and share alike

And I doe hereby make constitute and appoint the said Arthur Wallenger full and sole Executor of this my last will and Testament
And I doe hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me heretofore in any wise made and doe make and declare this onely to be my true and last Will and Testament
