In the name of God Amen I Martha Parsons of the Town and Borough of Deal in the County of Kent Widow being of sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding but mindful of my Mortality Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)

First I Give and devise All that my Messuage or Tenement and the Outhouses and yard or Backside thereunto belonging with their and every of their Appurtenances Situate lying and being in the said Town and Borough of Deal now in my own Occupation And all other my Real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my Daughters Mary Hunt of the Town and Port of Dover in the said County of Kent Widow and Catherine Parsons and Martha Parsons of Deal aforesaid Spinsters equally to be divided between them my said three Daughters Mary Hunt, Catherine Parsons and Martha Parsons share and share alike and they to take as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants and to their several and respective Heirs and Assigns for ever

Also I Give and Bequeath All and singular my Goods Chattels Effects and Personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what Kind or nature soever the same shall exist and be at the time of my decease (from and after the Payment of all my Just Debts, Funeral Expences and the Charges of proving and executing this my Will) unto my said Daughters Mary Hunt, Catherine Parsons and Martha Parsons equally to be divided between them share and share alike and to their respective Executors Administrators and assigns

And I make constitute and appoint my said Daughters Mary Hunt, Catherine Parsons and Martha Parsons Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament
And Lastly I revoke all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I the said Martha Parsons the Testatrix have hereunto set my hand and seal the Twentieth day of May in the Eleventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c. And in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy one

Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said Martha Parsons the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the Presence of us who have hereunto Subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereto in her presence and at her request

The before Registered Will of Martha Parsons deced [deceased] was proved the Twenty eighth day of December 1774 before the Reverend John Gostling Clerk Surrogate to the Worshipful Andrew Coltee Duracel Doctor of Laws Commissary General of the City and Diocese of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Catherine Parsons and Martha Walker (now the wife of Martin Walker) two of the Executors named in the said Will They being first sworn well and truly to perform the same &c.
Power being reserved to the other Executor &c.

Note: Martha Parsons was buried at St. Leonard, Deal, Kent on 25 Dec 1774
