In the name of God Amen the three and twentieth day of June in the yeare from the Incarnacon of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ one thousand sixe hundred twenty and nine
I Richard Partridge of the towne and Port of Sandwch in the County of Kent, Cooper doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following
First I thanke my heavenly Father for many his blessings towards mee as for bestowing his worldly substance upon mee, and for Ending mee wth perfect sence and memory to performe the Christian dutie wch hereby I intend in disposing of the personall estate I have in this world, as latlie and mst especially for creating mee in his owne Image of a creddee? man in wch the precious bloud of his deere sonne and making mee a member of Christ his true church heere upon Earth, and my bodye I leave to dust to bee decently buried at the discretion of mine executrix hereunder named in such manner as shee shall thinke fitt

Item I give unto my daughter Febye Partridge Five shillings of good and lawfull money of England,
and to my daughter Mary five shillings and to my daughter Agnes five shillings
and to my sonne William five shillings and to my sonne John five shillings and to my sonne Richard five shillings
and to my daughter Jane five shillings and to my Sonne Roger five shillings;
all those moneys I will that my executrix shall pay unto those my Children here mentioned soe soone as they shall come to the age of eighteene yeares a peece

And my will is that if it shall please God to take any of these my Children out of this world before they shall come to the age of eighteene yeeres that then that moneye shall come to mine Executrix towards the bringing up of the rest of the Children

Item all my apparell, mony and other goods wch shall bee mine and in my owne possession at the tyme of my death I give to my beloved wife Mary Partridge and doe make her my sole Executrix

and soe I finish this my last will and testament dated the day and yeare abovesaid

Richard Partridge, Cooper of Sandwich, married Margaret Buskin of St. Mary, Sandwich on 2 Mar 1606 at St. Margaret, Canterbury, Kent.
Phoebe Partridge was baptised at St. Peter, Sandwich on 2 Jul 1609.
Richard Partridge re-married Mary Bamford, both of St. Peter, Sandwich, Kent, on 30 Nov 1610 – at St. Peter, Sandwich.
Daughter Mary Partredge was baptised 15 Sep 1611 at Sandwich; Ann (Agnes) 30 Aug 1612; William 6 Feb 1613; Judeth 12 Nov 1615; Richard 20 Sep 1619; Jane 1 Jan 1625/26.
