In the name of God Amen I Martha Partridge of the p[ar]ish of Deale in the County of Kent widd[ow] being weake in body but of sound mind and memory, praised be God, have made published ordained and by these pr[e]sents doe make publish and ordaine This my last will and Testam[en]t in manner & former following (that is to say)
First as for my Imortall Soule I resigne and Comitt into the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my body to be decently buryed in the Church Yard of the said pish of Deale as neere to my deare Mother Anne Horne late of Deale aforesaid widdow dec[ease]d as Convenient may be There to rest in full assurance of my resurreccon att the last day with the bu..ts? and Beleevers in and through the death and meritts of my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and as for and concerning All that Estate and fortune that it hath pleased God to endowe me with in this world and worldly goods I give and bequeath the same and every p[ar]te and p[ar]cell thereof as followeth

As for my Brasse, pewter, beds and household stuffe, Bills, bonds, writeings obligatory, money in the hands of my Brother William Horne and interest due for the same, Booke debts belonging to me as Administrator to Roger Partridge my late husband deceased, Cattells, Chattells and goods whatsoever,
I give and bequeath the same unto my beloved Brother in Law Richard Shepheard of Deale aforesaid, gent[leman] To be disposed by him att his will & pleasure, paying my debts and defraying my funerall Charges and to his heires and assignes for evr

And as for my plate, rings and Jewells I give and bequeath the same unto my Beloved Sister Elizabeth now wife of the said Richard Shepheard
Likewise I give unto my two Brothers William Horne and Richard Horne one shilling apeece to be paid to them and either of them upon demand

revokeing all former wills by me made & makeing them frustrate and void
and I make nominate Constitute ordaine declare and appoint my said Brother in Law Richard Shepheard my Sole Executor of this my last will and Testament

In witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the first day of Aprill in the thirteenth yeare of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lord Charles the second of England Scotland France and Ireland, King Defender of the Faith &c. Annoq dini 1678

A true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods Chattells and Credites of Martha Partridge late of Deale in the County of Kent, Widdow dece[ase]d taken the five and twentieth day of March Ano din 1680 by Richard Smith and Joseph Peirce of the p[ar]ish aforesaid in the County aforesaid of Kent as followeth

Notes:
Martha Partridge, Widdow was buried at St. Leonard, Deal, Kent on 14 Jan 1680/81.
Roger Partridge had married Elizabeth Underdown at St. Martin, Great Mongeham, Kent on 27 Oct 1670.
Elizabeth the wife of Roger Partridge was buried at Deal on 9 Feb 1670/71.
Roger Partridge, wdr, cooper of Deal married Martha Horne, spr 21 of Deal, at Deal by licence dated 2nd June 1671.
Roger Partridge was buried 16 Apr 1676 at St. Leonard, Deal
