In the name of God Amen I John Partridge of Deale in the County of Kent Baker being in health and of sound and perfect mind and memory yet Considering the uncertainty of this Life, Doe make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following,
First I Comend my Soul unto Almighty God my Maker, and my Body to the Earth from whence it is And as for my Worldly Estate I give devise and bequeath the same as followeth (That is to say)

I give devise and bequeath All and Singular my Lands Tenements Hereditaments and real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my welbeloved Wife Elizabeth Partridge and to her Heirs and Assigns for ever
Also All and Singular my Leasehold Messuages, Goods, Chattells, Household Stuffe and personal Estate Whatsoever and Wheresoever of what Nature kind or Quality soever, I give and bequeath unto my said Wife Elizabeth her Executors Administrators and Assigns

And I make Ordaine and appointe my said Wife Elizabeth full and sole Executrix of this my Will
And Revoking all former Wills by me made I do make and Declare this only for my true and last Will and Testament

In witnesse Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale the Fifteenth day of November In the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Three, and in the Seventh Year of the Reign of King George the second over Great Britain &c.

The within written Will was proved and Adm[inistrati]on of the said deceaseds goods so far as Concern the said deceased and his Will was Committed to Elizabeth Partridge Relict of the deceased and the Executrix named in the said Will She being first sworn duly to Execute the same

Notes:
John Partridge was buried at St. Leonard, Deal, Kent on 10 Mar 1737/38.
Elizabeth Partridge, widow, was buried there on 8 Sep 1749.
John Partridge was married by Licence in 1710 at Canterbury: Partridge, John, Baker, bachelor and Elizabeth Mullett, spinster, both of Deal. At Deal or St. George the Martyr, Canterbury, Kent Dec 19, 1710. The marriage was at St. George the Martyr, Canterbury, and her surname was given as Mullitt.
Their children (all baptised and all buried at St. Leonard, Deal): 9 Apr 1712 Jane (bu: 15 Apr 1713); 28 Dec 1713 John (bu. 28 Dec 1713); 30 Sep 1716 Elizabeth (bu.: 30 Sep 1716).
