This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Peckham of Harlington Place, South Street Greenwich Kent Gentleman
I direct the payment of my just debts and testamentary expences subject thereto

I give devise and bequeath all my freehold leasehold copyhold and other estate property and effects including moneys in the funds or on other securities and of what nature or kind and whatsoever and wheresoever whether real or personal and whether in possession reversion or expectancy, and over which I have a disposing power unto my Wife Catherine Sophia Peckham to hold unto and to the use of my said Wife her heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever according to the respective nature and quality thereof

And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife sole Executrix of this my Will hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made & declare this to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed and set my hand and seal this eighth day of January in the Year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty

The Writing contained in this sheet of paper was signed and declared by the above named Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the Presence of us Present at the same time who at his request and in his Presence and in the Presence of each other have hereunto set and subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto

I the within named Thomas Peckham do hereby make this Codicil to my will whereby I appoint my brother in law Joseph Richardson to be joint Executor thereof with my Wife Catherine Sophia Peckham

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this nineteenth day of October 1856

Proved at London with a Codicil the 19th September 1856 before the Worshipful James Parker Deane Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the Oath of Joseph Richardson the Executor named in the Codicil to whom admon. [administration] was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
Power reserved of making the like grant to Catherine Sophia Peckham Widow the Relict the Executrix named in the Will when she shall apply for the same.

Note: Thomas Peckham married Catherine (Sophia) Cooper on 11th July 1822 at St. Luke, Charlton by Greenwich.
