In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Penny of the Town and Port of Folkestone in the County of Kent Fisherman do make and ordain my last Will and Testament in manner following First I recommend my Soul to God who gave it and my Body I committ to the Earth to be interred at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named As to my Worldly Estate I give as followeth

Whereas I have surrendered into the hands of Jacob Des Bouverie Esq�r Lord of the Coppy Hold Manor of Folkestone aforesaid to the use of my Will in such manner and forme as I should direct and appoint all that my Coppy Hold Messuage or tenement and premisses lyeing in Folkestone aforesaid now in my own occupation
Now I doe hereby give and bequeath the said messuage or tenement ground and premisses with the appurt�s lyeing in Folkestone aforesaid now in my occupacon unto my loving wife Elizabeth her heirs and assignes forever

As also I give and bequeath unto my said Loving wife Elizabeth all and every of my goods chattles monys and personall estate whatsoever and wheresoever that I shall leave at the time of my decease shee paying my debts and Funerall expences

and I hereby make and appointe my said wife Elizabeth full and sole Executrix of this my said Will and thus I conclude the same revoking all former and other will and wills by me heretofore made

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth day of May Anno Dm 1731 Thos Penny

Signed Sealed published declared and delivered by the said Testator to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us the witnesses who have subscribed our names in the presence of the s�d Testator.
