I Charles Perronet now living in Canterbury being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding declare this to be my last Will and Testament as follows First I desire that my Funeral may be plain and mean without any of the Show of this World and that nothing may be cast away to the worms which might be given to Christ in his Poor Members on Earth

Secondly I bequeath to my Hon: Father my Bible as the best of all Legacies I can bequeath

thirdly I nominate and appoint my Sister Damaris Perronet to be my Sole Executor and Administrator Acknowledging the many favors I have received from her and heartily wishing it were in my Power to requite them as deserved
I also bequeath to the said Damaris Perronet all my Goods and Chattels which I have at Shoreham

fourthly as I have had many years in Mr John Bissakers family and never had it in my Power to make a just recompense I do out of Justice and gratitude bequeath to Elizabeth Bissaker Wife of the above named John Bissaker Carpenter of the above mentioned City of Canterbury all my Goods and Chattels which are in my Lodgings in the House of the said John Bissaker
Also I bequeath to the said Elizabeth Bissaker to be paid at my decease

Fifthly I bequeath to all my other Relations near or father off of kin my unfeigned good wishes and earnestly beg of God to bestow on them his heavenly Grace as the only inheritance If I have at any time offended any be they who they will I beg their forgiveness and implore of my Lord Jesus Christ to show them the more favour

Charles Perronet Signed sealed and delivered the first of May in the Year of our Lord seventeen fifty five
