In the Name of God Amen the second Day of December Anno Dmi one thousand sixe hundred and ninety one and in the yeare of the Raigne of Our Soveraigne Lady Elizabeth by the Grace of God of England France and Ireland and Queene Defender of the Faithe the fower and thirtieth.
I RICHARD PETTIT of the Parish of Ringwolde in the County of Kent Yeoman sicke in body but of perfect remembrance thankes be to Allmighty God make this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following.
First I bequeath my soule to Allmighty God and his sonne Jesus Christ my Saviour by whose bloodsheding I hope to have life everlasting my body to be buried in the Churchyard of the Parish of Ringwolde.

Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne GEORGE PETTIT my house sett lieing and being in the Parish of Ringwolde above Crathersole.
Also I give unto my sonne GEORGE PETTIT three acres and one rod of lande lieing in the Parish of Ringwolde on the Northwest Side of the said house adjoining to the Lande of the heires of JOHN GILLOWE South West to the Lande of THOMAS PHILPOTT the Elder North West and to the Lande of MRS SIDLEY North East.
Item I give to my sonne GEORGE one acre of lande more lieing in the North field betwene the Lande of THOMAS PHILPOTT the Elder North West and the Lande of Mrs BEARE? North East.

Item I give to my sonne GEORGE one halfe acre leing in a shott called Baggers Shott lieng between the Lande of the heires of ROBERT BRETT East and the Lande of THOMAS ADAMS North West.
Item I give to my sonne GEORGE seaven rodds in the furlonge the high way going from Ringwolde to St. Margarette through it joyning to the Lande of WILLIAM MARTIN South East and to the Lande of the said heires of ROBERT BRETT towards the North West.

Item I give unto my sonne GEORGE one halfe acre and halfe a rodd Henge in the Chanckpitt Shott betwene the Lande of BEATRICE MARTIN on the South East side and the heires of ROBERT BRETT on the North West side.
Item I give unto my sonne GEORGE five rode leing in the Mede adjoyning to the Lords Lande East and South East and the Lande of LUKE PHILPOTT North West.
Item I give unto my sonne GEORGE three rodds of lande more in the Medes heading upon Rogers Close South West and LUKE PHILPOTT on the North West side and to the Lande of BEATRICE MARTEN South East.
All wich said parcells of Lande as afforenamed I give to my sonne GEORGE and his heires forever.

Item I give and bequeathe to my sonne VALENTINE the house wherin I now dwell and all other my Lande and tenements whatsoever not willed within the County of Kent or elsewhere to him and his heires forever.

And I do make and ordaine VALENTINE PETTIT my Eldest sonne my sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.
