The last Will and Testament nuncupative of ELIZABETH PHILPOTT late of the Parish of Eastry in the County of Kent Widow the Relict and Executrix of the last Will and Testament of WILLIAM PHILPOTT late of the same parish deceased by her uttered and declared in the time of her last sicknesse whereof she died. To wit on or about the nine and twentieth Day of June in the year of Our Lord 1647 and before she had taken upon her the Execution of the Will of her said late husband shee being in good and perfect memorie in these or like words followinge that is to say.

First shee willed and appointed RALPHE PHILPOTT her late husbands Brother to be her Executor.
And that her Brother WILLIAM HAWKE should be partner of the said RALPHE in the execushion if the said WILLIAM desire it.

Secondlye shee desired that JOANE SPENCER her said late husbands Syster should have the bringinge up of her children in learning and good education as she had formerly done. And that shee should keep them handsome and neat in their appearance. And willed that her Executor RALPHE PHILPOTT should be carefull to see them well brought upp.

Thirdly shee gave to JOHN PHILPOTT her sonne a silver spoone and a gold ring and willed that hee should have all her late husbands lands.

Further shee willed to her Brother in Law VINCENT PUCKLE one reasonable good suite of apparrelle naminge doublett and breeches that were her late husbands. And that her Syster the wife of the said VINCENT should have her best redd clothe petticote and twentie shillings a yeare not adding anie further words nor mencon of time or life.

And shee appointed that all her linnen should be for the use of her children. And that her piece of Holland cloath should be cutt out for them but not in wast. And sayd that her other lynnen should be reserved for her said childrens use and not cutt out in wast. One of her husbands coates shee willed should be cutt out to make one of her daughters a wastcote.

And the rest of her husbands woollen apparrell shee desired that her Syster SPENCER should have to her owne use together with her best stuffe petticote and all her wastcotes save one.
To ELIZABETH STUPPELL one of her maydservants shee gave her other redd petticote.
And to SARAH COY her other maydservant shee gave her linsey woolsey petticote.

There being present together at once and witnesses of all the promises
