In the name of God Amen In the ye[a]r of oure lord God [1535] And the xxvij [27th] yere of the reigne of our Sovreigne lord Kyng Henry the viijth
I Thomasyne Phylpott the Widue of Myghell Philpott do make and ordeyne my last Will & Testament after this man[ne]r & forme foloweng
First I bequeith my soule to Allmyghty God And to our ladye Saynte Marye And to all the holy companye of hevyn my Body to be buried wtin [within] the churche yard of Saynt James of the p[ar]ishe of Elmested

Also I bequeith to the high Ault [altar] of Elmested aforesaid iiijd
Also I will have at my furthesavr? a Solempne [Solemn] dirige & iij masses
Also at my monthis mynde [month’s mind] a Solempne dirige & iij masses And afterward an obute [obit - light] kepte the space of vij yeres with my housbands obite

Also I bequeith to my dought[er] Alice v ewes & a cowe And to be delivered at the feste of Saynt George
Also I bequeith the saide Alice my grete brasse pott and my brede pane
Also I bequeith my dought[er] Glyne iiij ewes to be delivered [at the feast of] Saynt George
Also I bequeith to my dought[er] Thomasyne iiij ewes to be delivered at Saynt George

Also to my sone Robert A co[u]ple of Oxen & a cowe
And if it chaunce that my sone Robert dye I will the oxen to my sone John
Also I bequeith to my sone Thomas a cowe & iiij ewes And a brasse pott next the best
Also I bequieth to my sone John all the overplus of my good(s), Fulfyllyng the charges of my wyll

Also I putt yn trust to be my true executor my sone John And to be myne overseer my sone Thomas
Witness hereof: Sampson Baker, y[e]oman; Stephen Martyn; Peter Bulfynch & John Stronghe with others
