In the name of God Amen I Nicholas Pigott of Chiddingstone in the County of Kent Yeoman being of Sound and Disposing Mind Memory and Understanding (praised be Almighty God therefore) do make and Declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
First and principally I recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God And my Body I Commit to the Earth to be Interred at the Discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named And as touching such Worldly Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me withall I Give Devise and Dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say)

First I Give and Devise unto my beloved Wife Sarah Pigott for the Term of her Natural life All and Singular my Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Real Estate whatsoever or wheresoever

And from and Immediately after the Decease of my said Wife I Give and Devise the said Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Real Estate unto Nicholas Driver (Son of Thomas Driver of Eatonbridge in the aforesaid County of Kent, Yeoman) and to his Heirs and Assigns for ever
He the said Nicholas Driver his Heirs or Assigns Paying thereout
unto Thomas Driver his Brother the Sum of Twenty Pounds and unto Mary Driver and Sarah Driver his Sisters the Sum of Ten Pounds apiece
and which said Sums I Give and bequeath unto the said Thomas Driver, Mary Driver and Sarah Driver respectively to be paid in Twelve Months next after the time of the Decease of my said Wife

Also all and Singular my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever after Payment of my Debts and Funeral Expences I Give and bequeath unto my said Wife Sarah whom I do make Constitute and Appoint full and Sole Executrix of this my said Will
And I do hereby Revoke and make Void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made And do Declare this only to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Nicholas Piggott have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Twenty Ninth day of November In the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty two

Signed, sealed, Published and declared by the said Nicholas Pigott as and for his last Will and Testament in the Presence of us who in his Presence and at his Request Subscribed our names as Witnesses

This Will was proved at London the Twenty Second Day of May In the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty Eight before the Right Honourable Sir George Lee, Knight, Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, lawfully constituted by the Oath of Sarah Pigott Widow the Relict of the deceased and Sole Executrix named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased, having been first Sworn by Commission to Administer

Note: Nicholas Piggot was buried 21st April 1758 at St. Mary, Chiddingstone, Kent.
