Will of Benjamin Pluckrose

of Deptford St Paul, Kent

This is the last Will and Testament of me Benjamin Pluckrose of the Broadway in the Parish of St Paul Deptford in the County of Kent Hairdresser which I make publish and declare in manner following that is to say
First and principally I recommend my Soul to Almighty God and my body to be decently interred at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named

And as to all such worldly goods Estate and Effects both real and personal as I shall die possessed of or entitled unto either in possession reversion remainder or expectancy after payment of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences the charges of proving this my Will and the several legacies hereinafter by me bequeathed I give devise and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my Son Thomas Pluckrose his Executors admors and assigns To hold the same unto my said Son Thomas Pluckrose his Exors administrators and assigns absolutely for ever

I give and bequeath unto Mary Anne Hampshire the sum of fifteen pounds
unto Harriett Whetherden the sum of fifteen pounds
unto Ann Watson the sum of five pounds together with the bed I purchased of her father and one pair of sheets one pair of blankets and a coverlet
unto Maria Watson the sum of five pounds
and unto John Watson the sum of five pounds which I desire to be placed into the savings Bank until he shall leave the Victuallers School and then to be paid unto him with the Interest thereon

Also I give unto Thomas Watson all my wearing Apparel
and unto Richard Hampshire the sum of seven pounds
and unto George Hampshire the sum of five pounds

and lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Son Thomas Pluckrose Executor of this my last Will and Testament and hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me heretofore made I do declare this and none other to be and contain my whole last Will and Testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty B Pluckrose
