In the Name of God Amen I Catherine Pordage of the City of Rochester in the County of Kent Widow being of sound and perfect mind memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament
First and Principally I recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator my body I commit to the Earth to be decently Interred at the Discretion of my Executrix herein after named

and I do nominate constitute and appoint my Daughter Mary Pordage Spinster sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
And as to the disposition of such Temporal Estate which it shall please God to bless me with at the time of my decease I Give and bequeath the same as followeth

Whereas I have paid all and every of my Children Sons and Daughters their respective shares of the Personal Estate of my late Husband Caleb Pordage their late Father deceased Intestate
And Whereas I have since paid and advanced several Sum for or on account of my Sons John Pordage and Theophilus Pordage over and above their respective Shares of their said Father�s Personal Estate
Now I do hereby give forgive and release unto my said two Sons John Pordage and Theophilus Pordage their Executors and Administrators all such Sum or Sums of money which they shall owe unto me at the time of my decease in any wise

howsoever I give and bequeath unto my Son Richard Pordage the Legacy or Sum of twenty pounds
and to my said two Sons John Pordage and Theophilus Pordage the Legacy or Sum of five pounds a peice to be paid to them respectively within three Months after my Decease

Also I give and bequeath my part or share of the profit and Advantage arising by and from the Business in partnership with Mr Richard Stradwick the Elder of the City of Rochester aforesaid in the Stage Coaches or otherwise and my part or Share of all the Coaches Chariots Chaises and Carriages whatsoever and also my part or Share of all the live and Dead Stock Horses Hay Corn Utensils Harnesses Geer and things whatsoever and wheresoever in any wise belonging to the said Business or Partnership as aforesaid as followeth (to wit)

one entire Moiety or half part thereof I give and bequeath to my Son in Law Mr Samuel Weddell and to his Executors Administrators and Assigns
but in Case of his decease before me I give and bequeath the same unto and amongst all and every the Child and Children of the said Samuel Weddell by my late Daughter Deborah Weddell deceased equally between them share and share alike and to the Survivors and Survivor of them

Also I Give and bequeath the other entire Moiety or half part thereof unto my said Daughter Mary Pordage and to her Executors Administrators and Assigns after the payment of my Debts Legacys and Funeral Expences the Charges of proving this my last Will and Testament and other incident Charges

I Give and bequeath all the Rest and residue of my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my said Daughter Mary Pordage and to her Executors Administrators and Assigns
And I do hereby Revoke and make void all former Wills or Testaments by me made declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament contained in two Sheets of Paper

In Witness whereof I have set my hand to the first Sheet and my hand and seal to this last Dated the twenty ninth day of November in the first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty Cath Pordage
