This is the last Will and Testament of me John Pye of Dunn Street in the Parish of Boxley in the County of Kent Yeoman

First I do nominate constitute and appoint my son William Pye of Boxley aforesaid and William Long of Hucking in the said County Farmer Executors of this my Will
And my desire is that I may be buried in decent but by no means costly and that a headstone be erected to my memory
And I direct that all such debts that I shall justly owe to any person or persons at the time of my decease Funeral and testamentary expences be in the first place satisfied by my executors herein before named

Whereas I have already given directions as to the distribution of my Household Furniture
And Whereas I have now due and owing to me from the said William Long the sum of One hundred pounds And from my Son Thomas Pye the Sum of Sixty Pounds of lawful money of Great Britain being monies already paid lent or advanced to them
Now I do hereby give and bequeath to my Grand-daughter Abigail Long the Sum of Ten Pounds of like lawful money

And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels monies (particularly the two sums hereinbefore mentioned to have been lent by me) and all other my Stock Crop and Personal Estate of whatsoever sort and kind I give and bequeath the same unto my two Sons William Pye and Thomas Pye and my Son in law William Long to be divided between them in equal parts shares and proportions absolutely the Payment of which said legacy and distribution of the residue of my Personal Estate I direct shall be paid and made within twelve calendar months next after my decease

And I do hereby authorize and empower my said Executors and each of them at all times and occasions whatsoever to reimburse themselves and each of them out of my said Personal Estate and Effects all costs charges damages and expences whatsoever which they or either of them shall pay expend or be put unto in or about the execution of this my Will and that neither of my said Executors or their or his Executors or Administrators shall be responsible for any more monies than shall be actually received by them under and by virtue of this my Will nor the one of them for the other of them but each of them for himself and his own acts defaults receipts and payments only

And lastly I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made and do declare this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said John Pye the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament contained in one sheet of Paper set my hand and Seal this thirteenth day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five John Pye
