Written the 8th November 1513 I Symon Quylter of Nonynington in the Countie of Kent Beying of hole mynde & good memorie thanked be I ordeyne & make my p’sent testament in manr & forme folowyng
First I give & bequest my soule unto almighty god my creator unto o’r Lady the Virgyn Mary his glorious modre & to all the companygh of heven & my body to be buried before Saynt Antony in the foresaid churche of Nonyngton

Itm I bequeeth unto the high auter of the said churche for my tithes and offorynge forgotten or by me necligently Witholden iijs iiijd
Itm I bequeath unto o’r Lady light in the ?gnear ij bushelles of barlie
Itm I nbequeeth to the Rood light that belongith to ?Essole ij bushelles of bar[l]ei
Itm I bequeath to the light of alhalow a bushell of barley
Itm I bequeath ij bushelles of barley for to fynde a lampe burning in oure Lady channcell for evrmore
Itm I bequeith to my god child a bushell of barley

Itm I bequeith to the bieng of an Anciphonar vjs viijd
& I will that myn executors or their assignes pay V nobiltes the which was at the gifth of one Roger Webbe when so en that the p’ishons doth bildethe north side of thile [=the Isle] of the churche of Nonyngton
Itm I bequeath to the bildyng of the foresaid north I[s]le vjs viijd
Itm I give & bequeath to the purchasing of lande to the brotherhood Vjs viijd

Itm I bequeath to Agnes my daughter ij kene price Xvjs X ewes XX whethers of the best
Itm I give & bequeath to John Webbe iiij bushels of barley
Itm I bequeath to Parnell Webbe ij bushelles of barley
Itm I will that Thomas Quylter my sonne shall fynde his modre [mother] Houserome mete & drynk & all thynges with All comodites during her life

Itm I will have done For me at my forth fare dirige & Xv masses And at my Monethis day dirige & XV masses
And of this my p’sent testament I ordeyne & make myn executors Thomas Quylter My sonne Robt Quylter my brother And I give hym for his labour iijs iiijd
The Residue of all my goodes unbequeathed I give unto Thomas Quylter my sonne
In witnesse wherof William Pemberton & John Boys & Richard Webbe

This is the Last will of me Simon Quylt’r of the p’ishe Of Nonyngton made the day & yere above said &c

Inprimis I will that my will shall stand in His strength & effecte
Itm I will that Thomas my sonne shall have all my lands & ten[emen]tes being and leyng w[ithin] the p’ishes of Nonynton & Goodneston to hym to his heires for evrmore so that the said Thomas his heires & assignes paye only yere unto His modre Xiijs iiijd duryng her lif that is to saye Quarterly iijs iiijd
yf for lake [lack] of payment therof I will she shall distress & distayne upon all the said lands and t[enem]ents
