The laste wordes of Will[ia]m Quilter of Staple, in the Countie of Kente, as touchinge his last will and Testamente, before Edmund Morrice of ..ghn and Nicholas Sayre of Staple in November 1573, are these followinge,

firste I bequeathe to my brother Symon Quilter xiiij li [£14]
And to my two Sisters Mildred and Angelica Ten pounds to be equallie devided betwene them, To be payde at the Annuciacon of our Ladye nexte followinge
Item I bequeathe to the poore vij bushells of wheat, vij Sheepe

Will ends abruptly here.

Very long Probate – all in Latin. Mentions brother Simon Quilter. 26th January 1573(4)
