unto my well beloved Wife Sarah Ralph of Chatham aforesaid her heirs and assigns I give devise and bequeath all and Singular such Sum and Sums of Ready Money Debts Credits Short Allowance Money Prize Money Pay Wages Plate Rings household Goods Chattels houses Lands Tenements and whatsoever else that shall be any ways due owing and belonging to me at the time of my decease (and all Real Estate to her and her heirs and assigns forever
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Sarah Ralph Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
And I do give and bequeath unto my said Executrix all the Rest and Residue of my Estate whatsoever both Real and Personal hereby revoking and
making void all other and former Wills by me heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Twenty Eighth day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Fifty five and in the Twenty Ninth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith. This Will was proved at London the Second day of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty one before the Worshipfull Andrew Coltee Ducarel Doctor of Laws and Surrogate of the Right Worshipfull Edward Simpson Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Sarah Ralph Widow the Relict of the deceased and Sole Executrix named in the said Will To whom Administration of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased was granted having been first Sworn duly to administer.
