In the name of God Amen. I Mary Ramsden of Biddenden in the County of Kent, widdow, doe this Three & Twentyeth day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand Six Hundred Ninety and Eight make & declare this my last Will & Testament in manner & forme following (being in perfect health of body & of sound & disposing mind & understanding, praysed be God for the same)
And first I bequeath my Soul to God that gave it And my body in hopes of a Joyfull Resurreccon through the alone merritts, death and passion of my ever blessed Saviour & Redeemer Jesus Christ, I committ to the Earth to be decently buryed next to my late deare husband
And as touching that worldly estate which God of his infinite goodness & mercy hath beene pleased to blesse me with, I dispose thereof as followeth

Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Children Webb Ramsden, Thomas Ramsden and John Ramsden all & singuler my Goods, Chattells and personall Estate whatsoever & wheresoever to be equally devided betweene them at their severall and respective age & ages of 21

And my will & mind is that my Executor hereafter named doe assoone conveniently may be after my death, sell & dispose of my goods & chatelles and put out the money arising thereby (and what other debts shall be owing to me at my death) at Interest & keepe the same out at Interest untill my said Children shall arrive to their severall ages aforesaid

And I do hereby give the guardianshipp & tuition of my said children untill their ages aforesaid unto my said Executor, desiring him to give them all fitting educacion & learning and to putt them out a fitting ages to such trades or imployments as he shall thinke them most capable off And my will & mind is that my said Children be brought & maintained by my said Executor out of the Interest & other proceeds of my said personall estate & out of the rents & profitts of the lands which will upon my death descend to them and which I will my Executor shall receive

And my will & mind further is that my Executor doe once in twoe yeares or oftener if he please, give an account to my Overseers hereafter named of his receipts & disbursements with accounts being signed & allowed by my said overseers
I will shall stand good & not be unravelled by my children

And I do hereby make my Brother in Law William Back, Gent, Executor of this my will, to whom � for his paines & trouble, I give �5 And will he shall be allowed his reasonable charges & expences
And I make my Brothers in Lawe Stephen Ramsden & William Beacon, Gent, Overseers, desiring them to passe my said Executor Accounts as aforesaid & to see this my Will performed, to whom I give for their paines therein fifty shillings apeece.

In witnes whereof I have to this my last Will & testament conteyned in one side of paper, set my hand & seale the day & yeare above said, hereby revoking all former Wills
