Imprimis my mind and Will is that all my just debts of what nature sort or kind soever should with all convenient speed after my decease be
discharged paid or fully satisfied
and for the true payment of which I give and bequeath unto my Nephew John Turner the Elder of Buxted in the County of Sussex Mercer my
farm called by the Name of Homstall lying and being in the Parish of Mayfield in the said County of Sussex and now in the
occupation of William Baker with all and every thing thereunto belonging to the said John Turner and his heirs for ever
also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Richard Turner of Hawkhurst in the said County of Kent my Farm called Croust lying in the aforesaid Parish of Mayfield in and County of Sussex and now in the occupation of the said William Baker with all and every thing thereunto belonging to the said Richard Turner and his heirs forever
with this special trust and confidence reposed in them the said John and Richard Turner their Executors or Administrators that they shall as aforesaid with all convenient speed after my decease discharge pay or honestly satisfy all my just Debts so that none of my Creditors may sustain any loss
Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Robert Turner of Sandhurst in the said County of Kent my Farm called by the Name of Freebodyes Farm lying and being in the said Parish of Sandhurst and County of Kent with all and every thing thereunto belonging to the said Robert Turner and his heirs for ever
Also I give and bequeath unto my Niece Elizabeth Wife of William Baker of the aforesaid Parish of Mayfield and County of Sussex the sum of one hundred Pounds to be paid to her her Heirs Executors or Administrators within one year after my decease with two pair of good sheets
Also I give and bequeath unto my said Niece Elizabeth Baker and also unto my Nieces Cordelia Turner and Mary Turner Daughters of the aforesaid Robert Turner and also unto my two Nephews John Turner the Younger and William Turner and my Niece Sarah Turner Sons and Daughters of the aforesaid John Turner all my Silver Plate to be equally divided between them share and share alike
Further my Mind and Will is that my Executors pay unto the Poor of the aforesaid Parish of Sandhurst the sum of twenty shillings within three
Months after my decease taking the proper Method of distributing the same
and Lastly I do hereby further give and bequeath after my Legacies and all my just debts are discharged as aforesaid
unto my two Nephews the said John Turner and Richard Turner whom I do hereby appoint joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament
All and every the remainder of my Estate of what nature sort or kind soever equally to be divided between them share and share
alike to them and their Heirs for ever
and I do hereby revoke all former Will or Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be my Last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I the said Robert Relfe the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament (Contained in two Sheets of Paper) to the first Sheet thereof set my hand and to this last Sheet my hand and seal the nineteenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty and in the twenty first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth Robt Relf [LS]

This Will was proved at London the second day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty four before the Worshipful Andrew Coltee Ducarel Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Worshipful Peter Calvert also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of Richard Turner the Nephew of the deceased and one of the Executors named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to Administer Power reserved of making the like grant to John Turner the Nephew also of the said deceased and the other Executor named in the said Will when he shall apply for the same.

Robert Relfe was baptised 11 October 1704, Sandhurst son of Robert Relfe Gentleman (d.1729 Sandhurst) and his first wife Deborah.
He was buried 10 June 1784 and the parish burial record notes he was a Yeoman and a bachelor aged 80 years.
